I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries from clients or potential clients that I don’t often deal with. If we do a lot of work with seniors and help them pay their bills and manage their insurance claims. But it seems to be on the minds of many people to better organize their budgets.

Hi, I’m Peter Gordon, and I’m the president of New York Financial Organizers. We’re daily money managers. Generally, we help people pay their bills and, as mentioned, file insurance claims; we also help them organize life’s daily demands. And very often we work with seniors, but more and more busy professionals are coming to us today.

I had a conversation with someone who found us online, and I’m still amazed that I get inquiries from people online who just happened to go to our website. They find us, they see some videos, and they pique their interests. So, they give us a call. This executor who I spoke to today is a very busy woman.

And she has a major company that she deals with. They’re about 50 employees, and she’s busy building that business. But it’s finding that she just doesn’t have the time to manage her own bill pay. And she’s very focused on the finances of a business, but not on her personal finances. And she wanted to know how we could help.

And it’s a pretty simple process. Generally, what we do is download all their checking account and credit card information from their banks and put them into Quicken. And we categorize everything. And over time, we’re able to see the trends of their spending. And I say, it’s simple because there’s, there’s not a whole lot of work to it.

But the main thing is to see those trends. And what we found is that our clients see that they’re spending X amount on restaurants and shopping, and they’re able to make the necessary changes to make dramatic differences in their spending over time.
